Chicago Protective Apparel Open-Top Cover Mitt provides an additional layer of heat and abrasion resistance over top of gloves while still allowing dexterity of the fingers. Zetex Plus is a Vermiculite coated fiberglass fabric that can withstand an operating temperature of 1500°F / 815°C and a temporary peak temperature of  2000°F / 1095°C. This cover mitt is ideal for prolonging the life of gloves in high heat environments where an extra layer of insulation is beneficial.
